Biomass Boiler, Heat Pump Servicing & RHI Compliance

Biomass Boiler, Heat Pump Servicing & RHI Compliance

If your biomass boiler or heat pump is registered under the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme, you are required to have it serviced annually by a certified HETAS engineer to remain compliant with Ofgem regulations.

Our certified engineers perform a full, compliant service and provide all the documentation required for RHI inspections. We also register the service with HETAS at no additional cost.

If faults are identified or replacement parts are needed, we’ll quote, source, and repair with your approval using genuine, manufacturer-approved components.

After every service, you’ll receive a full service report, ready for your RHI audit or records.

For Business Owners

Switching to solar PV is a smart move for businesses looking to reduce operating costs and meet sustainability targets. By generating your own clean electricity on-site, you’ll significantly cut CO₂ emissions, reduce reliance on the grid, and demonstrate environmental leadership all while turning unused roof space into a revenue-generating asset through energy savings and export tariffs.

For Homeowners

Installing solar panels at home gives you greater energy independence, helping you become more self-sufficient while protecting yourself from rising electricity prices. By generating your own power and using it when you need it most, you’ll reduce your carbon footprint, lower your monthly bills, and gain real control over your household energy future.

Solutions proven to work

We used ESP from recommendation following a couple of failed attempts to get others to quote, one call to Ross at ESP and the ball was rolling. Ross attended site on multiple occasions to asses the site, and offer comprehensive guidance on the best system to use on our site. His staff are all more friendly and helpful, there was a wait on commissioning of the system, and whilst a little frustrating as we were excited to get up and running the time was useful as it allowed us to sort out what we were going to do with our electric meter, is the one we had is unable to measure units to export. ESP also offer A lot of help and advise on sorting this to, we look forward to the saving on return of investment, and would not think twice to use ESP again for any similar projects.

The team were fantastic, From quoting through to order, install & commissioning, they were super responsive, incredibly competent, and nothing was too much trouble.

They put up 22 solar panels, a Tesla Powerwall 3 battery, connected two energy supplies into 1, dug trenches between buildings, installed a Cat6 ethernet cabling system AND kept cost reasonable with no shocks. Above all, they were nice guys! I cannot recommend this company strongly enough.

Superb local company who service our Austrian biomass boiler with expertise and resourcefulness. I’ve been happy to recommend to my friends who also have biomass boilers. I’m very grateful to the ESP team and their knowledge and responsiveness.

FAQS

ESP Energy operates a dedicated maintenance and servicing division that spans the length and breadth of the UK, supporting a wide range of technologies including heat pumps, biomass and gas boilers, solar PV systems, and Combined Heat & Power (CHP) units. We offer flexible service contracts tailored to your operational needs, along with responsive out-of-hours call-outs and ongoing telephone support.

Our approach is centred around reliability, availability, and convenience – we work around your schedule to minimise disruption and ensure your systems continue to perform at their best. In addition, we are registered electricity brokers, with an experienced back-office team that monitors energy markets in real time. This enables us to advise clients on cost-saving opportunities, available schemes, and energy procurement strategies that align with your broader energy goals.

At ESP Energy, we’re proud to have a diverse and highly skilled in-house team that includes roofers, electrical engineers, civil and heating engineers, CAD designers, and refrigeration specialists, collectively bringing over 100 years of experience to every project we deliver.

We complete 99.9% of all work using our own team, ensuring full control over quality, safety, and timelines. Subcontracting is only ever considered in rare cases where a highly specialised task falls outside our core expertise, and even then, it’s only done with your prior agreement and full transparency before the project begins. This approach gives our clients confidence that their project is being handled by people who are accountable, qualified, and fully aligned with our standards.

The first step in our process is to sit down with you, ideally face to face, to gain a clear understanding of your requirements, site conditions, and how your business operates. This initial consultation allows us to assess your energy consumption patterns, review any data or information you have available, and explore your long-term objectives.

We believe that successful projects start with listening, not selling. By taking the time to understand your organisation and energy profile in detail, we can tailor a solution that genuinely aligns with your operational goals and delivers measurable value from day one.

We offer full servicing and maintenance across the UK, covering solar, batteries, chillers, CHP, biomass boilers and heat pumps. Our dedicated team is always on hand for phone support, out-of-hours callouts, and system monitoring, so you can rely on your equipment when it matters most.

And because we’re registered electricity brokers too, we’ll keep an eye on the energy market for you, offering smart advice on tariffs, export schemes, and potential savings.

CHP systems require regular servicing, it also benefits from having a skilled engineer on site to undertake daily and weekly checks and tasks. As the UK’s CHP specialists, we offer comprehensive maintenance plans and stock critical spare parts.
