At this poultry farm in Shropshire, our in-house team of expert engineers installed two 500kW Heizomat RHK biomass boiler, which run on wood chip.
The system is a fully integrated cascade system, allowing the two boilers to work in harmony with each other to heat the poultry units.
The system comprises of two 5,000mm agitators and a 10,000 litre buffer tank. The system also includes two Potterton LPG back up oil boilers for use when the biomass boilers are undergoing servicing.
